What is the TN visa?

The nonimmigrant TN visa allows citizens of Canada and Mexico to come to the U.S. to work in as a NAFTA professional in designated categories. There are dozens of professions that fall under the designated TN category. Canadian citizens can apply for a TN visa directly at the border/port of entry. VISANOW can prepare the TN application for the individual to present to the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer.

Mexican citizens must apply for a TN visa at a U.S. consulate abroad. VISANOW can prepare the TN application for the individual to present to the Consulate.

How long is the TN visa valid?

A TN visa holder is admitted for one year. TN visas may be renewed indefinitely in yearly increments.
